APK Inform has lowered its forecast for Ukraine's grain exports for the year 2025/26 (July to June) to 40.48 million tons, a decrease of 10.4% from the January forecast of 45.18 million tons and a decrease of 57.4% from the 2024/25 forecast of 38.281 million tons.
APK Inform has lowered its forecast for Ukrainian corn exports for 2025/26 from 45.18 million tons to 40.48 million tons, a decrease of 10.4% and a decrease of 57.4% compared to the previous year. This reflects a significant tightening of supply expectations, which may reduce the global corn market supply and push up spot prices. As a major exporting country, Ukraine's downward forecast has intensified market concerns about supply shortages, which is favorable for the corn spot market.
