On November 21, the commodity price index BPI was 890 points, a decrease of 1 point from yesterday, a decrease of 33.73% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 34.85% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on November 21, 2024, there were a total of 36 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (14 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (6 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were liquefied natural gas (1.48%), cyclohexanone (0.89%), and nickel (0.88%). There were a total of 38 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (13 in total) and non-ferrous metals (6 in total). The top three products with the highest decline were butadiene rubber (-3.08%), palm oil (-2.71%), and rapeseed meal (-2.16%).
