On November 19th, the commodity price index BPI was 891 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 33.66% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 35.00% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on November 19, 2024, there were a total of 43 commodities on the rise and fall list of bulk commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (16 in total) and non-ferrous sector (8 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were WTI crude oil (3.21%), Brent crude oil (3.18%), and silver (2.33%). There were a total of 44 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (21 products) and rubber and plastic (5 products). The top 3 products with the highest decline were aniline (-4.06%), butadiene rubber (-2.72%), and n-butanol (industrial grade) (-1.99%).
