SunSirs: The EU's Soybean Imports for 2024/2025 Increased 7% Year-on-year as of November 1

According to data from the European Commission, the overall import volume of oilseeds in the EU for 2024/2025 is higher than last year, but the import volume of vegetable oils lags behind the same period last year. As of November 10th, the import volume of soybeans from the 27 EU countries in 2024/2025 (starting from July 1st) was approximately 4.43 million tons, an increase of 7% compared to the same period in 2023/2024, and a year-on-year increase of 2% last week. The import volume of soybean meal was about 6.53 million tons, an increase of 18% year-on-year, and a 10% increase last week.
