According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of March 12th, the price of DOP was 11,220 RMB/ton, a significant decrease of 4.75% compared to the DOP price of 11,780 RMB/ton on March 1st. The price of raw material 2-EH had dropped significantly, the price of PA had fluctuated and fallen, and the cost of plasticizer DOP had decreased; Plasticizer enterprises resumed operations, with sufficient supply of plasticizer DOP; Downstream procurement was on demand, the support for the rise of plasticizers was limited, and prices of plasticizer DOP was fluctuating and falling.

The price of 2-EH had dropped significantly

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of March 12th, the price of 2-EH was 11,875 RMB/ton, a decrease of 4.43% from the price of 2-EH on March 1st, which was 12,425 RMB/ton. This week, the production of 2-EH had been stable, and the supply of 2-EH had increased; The shipment situation of 2-EH factories was poor, downstream manufacturers purchased at low prices, downstream demand was weak, and the price of 2-EH fluctuated and fell.

The price of Downstream PA fluctuated and fell

According to the market analysis system for PA products by SunSirs, as of March 12th, the quoted price for PA was 7,587.50 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.30% from the price of 7,625 RMB/ton on March 1st. The operation of domestic PA plants was stable, with a recent operating rate of around 60%. The spot supply of PA was sufficient, and the sales situation of PA manufacturers as poor. In addition, the supply of naphthalene PA had slightly declined, which had affected the price trend of PA produced in OX method. The price of PA had fallen, and the cost of plasticizer DOP had decreased.

Downstream PVC prices rose first and then fell

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of March 12th, the PVC quotation was 5,596 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.21% from the PVC price of 5,608 RMB/ton on March 1st; Compared to the price of 5,632 RMB/ton on March 6th, the price of PVC had decreased by 0.64%. The trading situation in the PVC market was average, with futures prices falling, affecting the confidence of the spot market. Downstream procurement was more cautious, PVC spot market prices were falling, PVC demand was weak, and high priced goods were still difficult to trade. PVC prices had fluctuated and fallen, PVC manufacturers had temporarily stabilized at low operating levels, downstream demand was poor, PVC production was low, and demand for plasticizer DOP was weak.

Market outlook
