SunSirs: China Corn Starch Prices were Weak Last Week

ccording to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the domestic corn starch price was weak last week. The average price of first grade corn starch consumed at the beginning of the week was 3,226.00 RMB/ton, and the average price over the weekend was 3,210.00 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.50% during the week.
Last week, the domestic corn market prices continued to be weak and downward, with raw material costs continuing to decline. Downstream trading entities increased their wait-and-see attitude, and the domestic corn starch market prices subsequently fell.
The corn starch product analyst from SunSirs believes that the raw material cost continues to decline, downstream purchases and sales are cautious, and the domestic corn starch market price will continue to operate under pressure in the short term.
