According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of domestic corn starch slightly rebounded last week. The average price of first grade corn starch consumed at the beginning of the week was 3,282.00 RMB/ton, and the average price over the weekend was 3,296.00 RMB/ton, a slight increase of 0.43%.
In November, due to the impact of rainy and snowy weather in many areas, the domestic corn market has weakened. Downstream deep processing enterprises have slightly raised prices to restock, driving a small rebound in the domestic corn market price. Supported by the rebound in raw material costs, the overall domestic corn starch market price rebounded slightly last week.
Analysts from SunSirs's corn starch products believe that weather factors are gradually weakening, and the supply in the corn market continues to rebound. In the future, the price of corn in the market lacks momentum, and raw material prices are fluctuating and stabilizing. The domestic corn starch market prices will then stabilize and operate accordingly.
