On September 6th, the commodity price index (BPI) stood at 991 points, an increase of 3 points from yesterday, a decrease of 26.21% from the highest point of 1,343 points in the cycle (2021-10-19), and a 50.15% increase from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on September 6, 2023, there were a total of 80 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (24 types in total) and the non-ferrous sector (17 types in total), with commodities with an increase of more than 5% mainly concentrated in the chemical sector; The top three commodities with the highest increase were ammonium sulfate (8.01%), sodium pyrosulfite (2.61%), and neopentyl glycol (2.38%). There are a total of 24 commodities that have decreased month on month, mainly in chemical industry (10 in total) and agriculture and sidelines (5 in total). The top three commodities with a decrease are TDI (-1.28%), cement (-1.24%), and lithium carbonate industrial grade (-1.16%), respectively. The average daily increase or decrease was 0.24%.
