SunSirs: International Crude Oil Futures closed Lower on August 15

On August 15th, international crude oil futures closed lower. The settlement price of the main contract for WTI crude oil futures in the United States was $80.99 per barrel, a decrease of $1.52 or 1.8%. The settlement price of the main contract for Brent crude oil futures was $84.89 per barrel, a decrease of $1.32 or 1.5%. The main reason is that the weak economic data in China is dragging down, coupled with the instability of the banking industry in Europe and America, leading to a decrease in risk appetite and pressure on the oil market.
