SunSirs: August 4th: International Crude Oil Futures Closed Lower

On August 4th, international crude oil futures closed lower. U.S. WTI crude futures for the September contract settled at $66.29/barrel, a decrease of $1.04 or 1.5%. Brent crude oil futures the October contract settled at $68.76/barrel, a decrease of $0.91 or 1.3%. The market's concerns about intensified as OPEC announced a significant increase in production for September.
