On June 28th, the comprehensive price of urea in China slightly increased, with a price increase of 18.12 RMB/ton or 0.81% compared to June 27th, and a year-on-year decrease of 27.25%. The price of upstream Yangquan Anthracite (washing medium block) was about 920 RMB/ton, with consolidation at low levels and general cost support.
From a demand perspective: agricultural demand increased, while industrial demand was general. Northern corn and southern rice used fertilizers well, and enterprises had a good attitude towards price supporting. Composite fertilizer, board, and melamine enterprises started construction commonly, and mainly purchased on demand. From a supply perspective, the daily production of urea was around 160,000-170,000 tons, indicating sufficient supply.
Market outlook
In the future, it is expected that the domestic urea market price may fluctuate upward slightly, with an average market price of around 2,280 RMB/ton.
