According to the latest statistical data, in March 2023, China imported 29 million meters of cotton fabric, a month on month increase of 25.26% and a year-on-year increase of 179.63%; Export of 551 million meters of cotton cloth, an increase of 61.11% month on month and 9.95% year-on-year; The net export volume was 522 million meters, an increase of 63.74% month on month and 6.34% year-on-year.
From January to March 2023, China imported a total of 84 million meters of cotton fabric, a year-on-year increase of 156.12%; Accumulated exports reached 1.465 billion meters, a year-on-year decrease of 8.30%.
In 2022/23, China imported a total of 212 million meters of cotton fabric, a year-on-year increase of 129.26%; Accumulated exports reached 3.402 billion meters, a year-on-year decrease of 12.69%.
