On March 27, the benchmark price of styrene-butadiene rubber in SunSirs was 11,316.67 RMB/ton, a decrease of -5.89% compared with the beginning of this month (12,025.00 RMB/ton).
This week (3.20~3.27) the styrene-butadiene rubber market fell weakly. According to monitoring by SunSirs, as of March 27, the domestic price of styrene-butadiene rubber was 11,333 RMB/ton, a drop of 1.38% from 11,491 RMB/ton last Monday. This week, the ex-factory price of styrene-butadiene rubber is temporarily stable. According to the monitoring of Sunrise, as of March 27, the ex-factory price of Qilu SBR 1502 of Sinopec North China Sales Company was 11,200 RMB/ton. This week, the price of butadiene, a raw material, fell, and the price of styrene went up slightly overall. The cost support of styrene-butadiene rubber was still weak; the start-up of downstream tires was basically stable, and there was a certain demand for styrene-butadiene. The sales of styrene-butadiene rubber were dragged down. As of the 27th, the mainstream offer of styrene-butadiene rubber 1502 market was 11,200~11,600 RMB/ton.
