SunSirs: China's Automobile Production and Sales Exceeded 10 Million Units for the first Time from January to April

According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in the first four months of this year, China's automobile production and sales both exceeded 10 million vehicles for the first time in history.

According to statistics, from January to April this year, China's automobile production and sales volume reached 10.175 million and 10.06 million respectively, an increase of 12.9% and 10.8% year-on-year. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 4.429 million and 4.3 million respectively, an increase of 48.3% and 46.2% year-on-year. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 42.7% of the total sales of new cars.

In terms of exports, from January to April this year, the export of automobiles reached 1.937 million units, a year-on-year increase of 6%. Among them, 642,000 new energy vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 52.6%.

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers stated that in April, the overall performance of the automobile market was good, with production and sales achieving steady growth compared to the same period last year. Among them, the accelerated release of domestic demand potential has played a good supporting role; Export remains stable under the rapidly changing external environment; New energy vehicles have shown active performance, with production and sales continuing to grow rapidly.
