According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the domestic corn price was slightly strong last week. The average price of yellow corn at the beginning of last week was 2,835.71 RMB/ton, and the average price at the end of last week was 2,840.00 RMB/ton, a slight increase of 0.15%.
In the middle of January, near the end of the year, coupled with frequent snowfall in some regions, farmers' willingness to sell grain in the production areas decreased significantly, the domestic corn market trade volume continued to decline, and the arrival volume of corn in the port area continued to decline. In order to stimulate the arrival of corn, the port area and some deep-processing enterprises increased the corn purchase price slightly last week, driving the domestic corn market price to run slightly stronger.
Last week, the domestic egg price rebounded slightly, and rose 1.79% in the week. The pig price continued to be weak, and fell 4.16% in the week. The market of the breeding industry fluctuated and went down. The domestic corn price continued to be high, the ratio of pig to grain continued to fall, and the pig breeding industry fell to a loss situation. In the future, the enthusiasm of farmers to supplement the livestock will continue to decline, and the demand for corn feeding may decline.
According to the corn product analyst of the Business Society, the domestic corn trade is gradually weakening before the holiday, and it is expected that the domestic corn market price will remain stable in the short term.
