SunSirs: Weekly US Corn Export Sales Report for the Week Ended April 17
April 27 2025 16:29:05     SunSirs (Selena)The US Department of Agriculture's weekly export sales report shows that the pace of US corn sales continued to exceed the speed required to achieve the department's export targets last week, but the growth rate narrowed. As of April 17, 2025, the shipment volume of US corn exports to China (mainland) in 2024/25 was 33,000 tons, compared to 2.07 million tons in the same period last year.
The United States shipped 100 tons of corn to China this week, and there was no shipment of corn in the previous week. So far, the amount of 2024/25 corn sold but not shipped to China by the United States is 0 tons, lower than the 50,000 tons sold in the same period last year.
So far in 2024/25, the total sales volume of corn from the United States to China (both shipped and unshipped) has been 33,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 98.5%. Last week, it was a year-on-year decrease of 98.5%, and two weeks ago, it was a year-on-year decrease of 98.4%.
