Analysis review

The trading atmosphere of propylene glycol was general, and the new orders were mostly negotiated. As of December 2, the domestic propylene glycol market price was around 7,700-8,000 RMB/ton.

In terms of supply: Most of the new propylene glycol orders this week were just needed and mainly negotiated, so some propylene glycol plants were under pressure in inventory. In addition, in the fourth quarter, some units were put into production, and the overall on-site supply was also at a high level. The mentality of the industry was general, and the support for propylene glycol was loose.

On the demand side, the UPR market of propylene glycol downstream was average, the consumption of raw materials was slow, the mentality of the industry was general, and the stock was cautious. Therefore, the support given to propylene glycol from the demand side was also insufficient.

Market outlook

At present, the propylene glycol market is weak as a whole, and the short-term pre added capacity has injected a strong wait-and-see mood into the market.
