According to customs data: China imported 4,366.203 metric tons of propylene glycol in August 2025, representing a month-on-month decrease of 13.74% and a year-on-year decline of 28.69%. Cumulative imports from January to August 2025 reached 39,691 metric tons, down 8.74% year-on-year.

Customs data indicates: China's propylene glycol exports in August 2025 reached 27,700 metric tons, representing a 4.52% increase month-over-month and a 37.36% rise year-over-year. Cumulative exports from January to August 2025 totaled 198,400 metric tons, marking an 18.07% increase compared to the same period last year.
