According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of October 27, the average price quoted by the ECH enterprise was 9,766.67 RMB/ton, down 13.31% compared with the price on October 1, and down 51.33% compared with the same period last year.

Analysis review

The market price of ECH fell in October. From the perspective of supply and demand: after the festival, the factory was active in shipping, but the downstream mainly consumed the raw materials in stock, and only small orders were needed to replenish at low prices. The shipment of the cargo holders was not smooth, the mentality of the operators was under pressure, the price of ECH fell. In the middle and late October, the demand side was still poor. Some devices in Hebei, Shandong and Zhejiang were in shutdown state, but the downstream purchase intention was not high, buying was cautious, the shipment of the holders was under pressure, and the weak demand dragged down the price and the price continued to weaken.

From the perspective of upstream and downstream, the reference price of upstream propylene was 7,426.60 RMB/ton on October 26, down 2.55% compared with the price on October 1 (7,620.60 RMB/ton). The cost support of propylene method was insufficient this month, and the market of raw glycerin fell this month, but the cost pressure of glycerin method remained. The reference price of downstream epoxy resin was 18,433.33 RMB/ton on October 26, down 10.23% compared with October 1 (20,533.33 RMB/ton), which was insufficient to support the ECH market.

Market outlook

According to the ECH analysts of SunSirs, the current cost support is insufficient, the demand is weak, and the factory is mainly active in shipping. It is expected that the ECH market will be weak in the short term, and more attention should be paid to the market news guidance.
