Price trend

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of September 28, the average price quoted by the ECH enterprises was 11,266.67 RMB/ton, which was the same as that on last Friday (September 23), 4.25% lower than that on August 28, and 39.43% lower than that in a three-month cycle.

Analysis review

Recently (9.23-9.28) the ECH market was stable and weak. Recently, the price of raw material propylene rose slightly, and the cost side had some support. Some factories had high inventories. Enterprises made profit-cutting to reduce warehouses, and they were mainly active in shipping. The downstream stocking was gradually coming to an end. The market trading atmosphere was light, and the focus of discussions was stability, with a narrow range of fluctuations.

Upstream propylene, on September 27, the base price of propylene in SunSirs was 7,530.60 RMB/ton, an increase of 6.06% compared with September 1 (7,100.60 RMB/ton).

For the downstream epoxy resin, on September 27, the reference price of epoxy resin was 20,500.00 RMB/ton, which increased by 5.13% compared with the price on September 1 (19,500.00 RMB/ton).

Market outlook

The ECH analyst of SunSirs believes that the current cost support still exists, the supply side is abundant, and the demand side support is insufficient. The market trading rhythm is slowing down near the holidays.
