The average market price at the beginning of the week was 4,866.67 RMB/ton, and the average market price at the weekend was 4,766.67 RMB/ton, down 2.05% and 17.82% year-on-year. The domestic flake caustic soda market maintained a weak trend.

Analysis review

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the price of caustic soda has been consolidated. The average market price in Shandong at the beginning of the week was about 1,232 RMB/ton, and the average market price in Shandong at the weekend was 1,198 RMB/ton. The price decreased by 2.76%, and the price increased by 124.98% compared with the same period of last year. According to the survey data of SunSirs, the domestic caustic soda price was running weakly this week. The average market price in Shandong was around 1,100-1,230 RMB/ton. The mainstream ex-factory quotation of 32% liquid caustic soda in Hebei was around 1,150-1,350 RMB/ton.
