December 29 2025 10:15:12China Home Textile Association (lkhu)

In order to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and accelerate the building of a modern industrial system supported by the real economy, under the unified guidance of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the China Home Textiles Industry Association has coordinated national strategies, industry realities, and the current situation to promote high-quality, long-term development of the industry and strengthen the association’s own capacity-building. To this end, the Association has formulated the 'Development Planning Action Outline of the China Home Textiles Industry Association (2023-2033),' which was reviewed and approved at the 4th Session of the 7th Council of the China Home Textiles Industry Association and covers seven major areas.
I. Developing New Quality Productivity in the Home Textiles Industry Driven by Scientific and Technological Innovation
1. Establishing a Systematic and Efficient R&D System
Regularly conduct surveys on technological needs to identify key common technologies. Continuously organize calls for papers (cases) on 'Technology + Home Textiles' and activities for recommending patent awards, thereby identifying and promoting advanced scientific research achievements.
2. Perfecting a Multi-level, Collaborative Innovation Platform System
Establish and improve an innovation alliance platform for relevant links in the industry and industrial chain. Explore new models of cross-sector collaboration and promote intelligent manufacturing, AI empowerment, and green transformation in the industry.
3. Developing an Efficiently Operating Technology Transfer and Commercialization System
Through conferences and events, facilitate exchanges and connections between the industry and providers of green new materials, dyeing and printing technologies, intelligent manufacturing, and artificial intelligence services, thereby enhancing quality and efficiency.
4. Establishing a New, High-quality Standards Support System
Continuously refine the standards system in alignment with national strategies and industry characteristics. Focus on new technologies and new products, and accelerate the development of high-quality product standards that are urgently needed by the market.
II. Promoting Fashion Upgrades in the Home Textiles Industry Led by Cultural Design
1. Driving Industrial Cultural Innovation Capacity through Fashion Trends
Continuously study “China’s Home Textile Trend” as well as trends in niche categories such as “bedding” and “fabric products,” and promote cultural innovation in the industry through various means, including establishing “R&D bases” and organizing “trend concept exhibitions.”
2. Build a cultural and creative exhibition platform to promote the fashion upgrade of the industry
By hosting the “Haining Home Textiles Cup,” “Zhang Jian Cup,” and “Zhenze Silk Cup” design competitions, we bring together high-quality creative designs; the “Home Textiles Design Hub” mini-program enhances connections and exchanges between brand enterprises and designers; and through collaboration with online consumer platforms, we strengthen interaction and showcase between consumers and designers.
3. Foster industry-wide cultural confidence and ensure the inheritance and development of our heritage
By organizing the “China International Fiber Art Exhibition,” we deeply integrate traditional craftsmanship with modern artistic design concepts, using new materials and processes to both preserve and promote our cultural heritage.
III. Fulfill social responsibilities and uphold green development in the home textile industry
1. Achieve the industry’s “dual-carbon” goals and tasks in stages
Actively strengthen research and investigation in the industry’s “dual-carbon” field, and actively implement “dual-carbon” standards and certification efforts.
2. Assist in building a green manufacturing system for the textile industry
We are establishing a green, standardized system of criteria and jointly developing and releasing relevant standards such as the “Guidelines for ‘Carbon Footprint’ Assessment” and “Guiding Specifications.”
3. Establish a resource recycling system for home textiles
Strengthen investigation and research into the circular economy within industrial parks, and intensify research and exploration into “full-lifecycle green management” for key areas and key products. Actively expand the application of regenerated cellulose fibers, polylactic acid fibers (PLA), seaweed fibers, and other such materials in various industries.
IV. Establish a regional coordination and integration mechanism for the home textile industry
1. Establish modernized pilot zones for home textiles and develop comprehensive regional plans for key industrial clusters; identify and strengthen leading enterprises in the region to support industry initiatives such as the Patent Award, Single Champion Awards, Specialized, Fine, and New Enterprises, Little Giants, Top Ten Innovative Products, and Product Development Contribution Awards. 2. Promote rural revitalization and common prosperity by stepping up support for industrial clusters in central and western regions. Implement targeted, one-on-one assistance programs, bringing along design expertise, platform resources, and market access. Actively advance the implementation of regional investment attraction policies and promote distinctive local products. 3. Boost the development of frontier regions by actively enhancing research and investigation into Xinjiang’s home textile industry, fostering the organic integration of specialized industries with modern home textiles, intensifying industry visibility and promoting industry-academia-research collaboration, and elevating the level of regionally distinctive development.
V. Enhancing the International Supply Chain for Home Textiles to Promote Dual-Circulation Development
1. Expanding Industry Supply Chain Development Through International Trade Shows
The China International Home Textiles Expo continuously enhances its brand influence and comprehensive service level as an industry supply chain matchmaking and exchange platform through diverse business-to-business matchmaking activities and integrated media promotion.
2. Fostering Cooperation and Exchange via Industry-Specific Conferences
Professional annual conferences on bedding, fabrics, towels, carpets, and other categories will deeply analyze the characteristics of specific sub-sectors and explore future development directions in a targeted manner.
3. Injecting New Vitality Through Innovative Activities
Drive brand development and increase brand visibility through multiple channels. Leverage cross-border e-commerce platforms to enhance our ability to tap into international markets. Strengthen international cooperation and policy alignment to provide support for industry development. Conduct mutual visits, inspections, and study tours along the industrial chain to foster greater collaboration and exchange.
VI. Promoting the Deep Integration and Development of the Digital Economy with the Home Textile Industry
1. Deep Integration and Innovation of Next-Generation Information Technology with the Home Textile Industry
Cooperate with national ministries and commissions to recommend and promote “demonstration enterprises for intelligent manufacturing,” establish “industry-specific industrial internet platform systems” and “big data platform systems,” build a “cloud-based” service system for industrial clusters, and fully integrate information technology.
2. Driving the Digital and Intelligent Transformation and Upgrading of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises within Home Textile Industry Clusters
Promote the digitalization and intelligent application among small and medium-sized enterprises in the industry, and establish a platform for sharing, communication, and collaboration. Advance the automation upgrade of bedding and towel enterprises; enhance the industrialized production capacity of personalized customization for fabric products.
3. Strengthen the integration of key industry sectors and application scenarios
Based on digital technologies, foster networked collaboration and sharing across key links in the industrial chain; promote the development and application of smart home textile products, and drive industry enterprises to achieve optimization in areas such as quality management, supply chain integration, and e-commerce integration.
7. Build a talent resource system for the modern development of the home textile industry
1. Promote human resource development through industry-specific professional activities
Accumulate outstanding designers through design competitions; bring together leading entrepreneurs and industry think-tank experts at high-level forums and specialized conferences to jointly advance talent development.
2. Establish a professional talent development system for the industry
Establish a 'Professional Skills Training Base for Home Textile Designers,' a diversified platform for nurturing tech talent, and organize training activities tailored to local conditions to enrich the development of skilled professionals.
The China Home Textile Industry Association will continue to be committed to supporting the high-quality development of the industry, closely following national policies and aiming to build a modern industrial system for the sector.
