Futures copper

Shanghai futures copper prices had slightly increased. The main contract 2406 closed at 76,800 RMB/ton, up 500 RMB/ton or 0.66%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, London's March copper quotation was 9,462.00 US dollars per ton. The ratio between Shanghai and London was 8.12, which remained unchanged from the previous trading day. The Shanghai London market experienced similar fluctuations. All contracts were traded in 297,250 lots, and the position increased by 13,055 lots to 595,886 lots. The main contract sold 142,517 lots, and the position increased by 97,25 lots to 204,867 lots.

Futures nickel

The price of nickel in Shanghai had increased. The main contract 2405 closed at 139,680 RMB/ton, up 2,640 RMB/ton or 1.93%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, the March nickel quotation in London was 18,210.00 US dollars per ton. The ratio of Shanghai to London was 7.67, which was lower than the previous trading day's 7.75. The increase in Shanghai nickel futures was smaller than that in the London market. The total number of contracts traded was 410,118 lots, and the position decreased by 2,832 lots to 20,614 lots 1. The main contract sold 273,596 lots, and the position decreased by 4,150 lots to 81,592 lots.
