The market price of ECH remained stable this week. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of December 22, the average price quoted by ECH enterprises was 8150.00 RMB/ton, which was unchanged from Monday's price.

Price influencing factors:

Cost side: According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the domestic propylene (Shandong) market had recently seen a slight increase, with stable prices of raw material glycerol as the main factor. The cost side had limited impact on the market of ECH.

Supply and demand side: The production capacity utilization rate in the supply side industry was low, with factories delivering contracts as the main focus and the supply side operating without pressure. However, the demand side performance was poor, and downstream users had insufficient purchasing intentions. They mainly followed up at low prices according to demand, resulting in a weak market transaction atmosphere.

Market outlook

SunSirs' ECH analyst believes that as of the 22nd, ECH's supply side support still exists, but the weak demand side constrains the market. It is expected that the ECH market may be stagnant and consolidated in the short term, and more attention still needs to be paid to market news guidance.
