Analysis review

This week, the domestic potassium nitrate market had declined, and it can be seen from the above chart that the recent potassium nitrate market mainly experienced slight fluctuations, and the market continued to decline slightly this week. The market price of potassium chloride on the cost side had declined, with poor cost support. Downstream demand generally maintained essential procurement, while the trading atmosphere in the potassium nitrate market was light, with inventory rising and prices continuing to decline. According to the statistics of SunSirs, the mainstream domestic potassium nitrate manufacturers quoted 5,200-5,400 RMB/ton this week (for reference only), and the prices varied depending on the procurement situation.

Recently, the prices of mainstream domestic potassium chloride manufacturers had fluctuated slightly: the prices of potassium chloride in Saltlake and Zangge were temporarily stable. The downstream market of potassium chloride was consolidating at a high level, with average downstream demand and mainly focused on purchasing for immediate needs. The circulation of potassium chloride was tight, and the supply of goods at the port had slightly increased. SunSirs' potassium chloride analyst believes that domestic potassium chloride imported prices may slightly decline in the short term.

Market outlook

Recently, there had been sufficient supply of imported potassium chloride, with lower prices and poor cost support. It is expected that the potassium nitrate market will mainly experience a slight decline in the short term. The long-term market still needs to be watched.
