SunSirs: Coke Prices Increased by 5.7% In Late November

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, coal prices across the country fluctuated in late November. The specific price changes of each coal type are as follows:

The price of anthracite coal (washed lump, volatile content ≤ 8%) is 1212.5 RMB/ton, a decrease of 48.3 RMB/ton from the previous period, a decrease of 3.8%.

The price of ordinary mixed coal (a mixture of Shanxi fine coal and lump coal with a calorific value of 4500 kcal) is 717.4 RMB/ton, a decrease of 11.2 RMB/ton from the previous period, a decrease of 1.5%.

The price of Shanxi Damian (a high-quality mixed coal with a calorific value of 5000 kcal) is 820.8 RMB/ton, a decrease of 16.6 RMB/ton from the previous period, a decrease of 2.0%.

The price of Shanxi Youmix (high-quality mixed coal with a calorific value of 5500 kcal) is 935.6 RMB/ton, a decrease of 14.0 RMB/ton from the previous period, a decrease of 1.5%.

The price of Datong blended coal (Datong produced blended coal with a calorific value of 5800 kcal) is 986.9 RMB/ton, a decrease of 14.2 RMB/ton from the previous period, a decrease of 1.4%.

The price of coking coal (main coking coal with sulfur content<1%) is 2437.5 RMB/ton, an increase of 170.8 RMB/ton from the previous period, or 7.5%.

From the above data, it can be seen that in late November, the price of coking coal continued the upward trend of mid November, and the increase further expanded; The price of anthracite continues to decline, and the decline is expanding; The price of thermal coal has declined comprehensively.

In addition, in late November, the national price of coke (quasi first grade metallurgical coke) was 2250.4 RMB/ton, an increase of 120.8 RMB/ton from the previous period, or 5.7%.
