November 17 2023 14:47:29SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the NMP market continues to decline this week. On November 13th, the average price of NMP was 13,833 RMB/ton, and on November 17th, the average price of NMP is 13,766 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.48%.

Analysis review

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the NMP market continues to decline this week. As of Friday, the mainstream retail prices in the domestic electronic grade NMP market are13,500-14,000 RMB/ton, and the low-end prices are 13,000 RMB/ton. The raw material end BDO market has been reorganized and operated. Due to the impact of device maintenance and other factors, the spot supply has weakened, and suppliers are actively reluctant to sell to support the market. Traders are cautious in trading, with stable quotations being the main focus. The follow-up on the NMP demand side is insufficient, with a strong wait-and-see atmosphere and a focus on just in needs. The NMP factory on the production side has remained stable, but due to the prolonged market downturn and weak price support mentality, the market focus has shifted downwards.

Raw materials: The domestic BDO market has slightly increased. From November 13th to November 17th, the average price of domestic BDO increased from 9,907 RMB/ton to 9,920 RMB/ton, with a decrease of 0.13% during the cycle. The market remains weak and has little impact on NMP support.

Market outlook

SunSirs’ NMP analysts believe that the current downstream follow-up of NMP prices is slow, and construction remains low. It is expected that the NMP market may continue to maintain a sluggish trend in the near future.
