On September 3rd, the commodity price ratio index of acetic acid and acetic anhydride was 142.82, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 4.78% from the cycle's highest point of 149.99 points (2023-08-28), and an increase of 104.79% from the lowest point of 69.74 points on August 4th, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from January 1st, 2015 to the present). Acetic acid prices fluctuate and rise, while acetic anhydride prices rise. The upward momentum of acetic anhydride market is greater, and the downward pressure is weakened.

On September 4th, enterprises in East China quoted 6250 RMB/ton, an increase from the previous trading day. Enterprises in South China quoted 6300 RMB/ton, which is temporarily stable compared to the previous trading day. Enterprises in North China quoted 6200 RMB/ton, an increase from the previous trading day. The actual transaction price is based on real-time negotiated prices.

On September 4th, the domestic acetic anhydride market rose. The surrounding delivery price of domestic acetic anhydride is 6200-6300 RMB/ton, which is higher than the previous trading day's quotation. The price of raw material acetic acid has fluctuated and increased, the methanol market has consolidated strongly, the cost of acetic anhydride has increased, the production of acetic anhydride manufacturers is low and stable, the supply of acetic anhydride is tight and stable, and downstream customers mainly purchase hard demand. The demand for acetic anhydride is average, and the upward momentum of acetic anhydride is relatively strong, while the downward pressure is weak.
