According to price monitoring data from SunSirs, as of June 16, 2023, the reference price for domestic n-propanol was 7,900 RMB/ton. Compared to June 12, 2023, the price remained basically unchanged. Compared to June 5 (reference price for n-propanol was 8,000 RMB/ton), the price was reduced by 100 RMB/ton, a decrease of 1.25%.

Analysis review

From the monitoring chart of SunSirs data, it can be seen that this week (6.12-6.16), the domestic n-propanol market as a whole showed a small range of fluctuations. This week, some domestic suppliers of n-propanol in Shandong region adjusted the price of n-propanol based on their own inventory and sales situation, with an adjustment range of around 50-100 RMB/ton. During the week, the overall market situation of n-propanol showed a fluctuating trend of mixed ups and downs, with a slight increase followed by a decrease. As of June 16th, the domestic market price of n-propanol in Shandong region was around 7,200-7,800 RMB/ton, and the high price was around 8000 RMB/ton. The n-propanol market in Nanjing region was relatively stable. Distributors in different regions still had reservations about prices, and the difficulty in monitoring prices might lead to differences in specific negotiation situations. Each region also has differences, and actual orders were mainly negotiated.

Market outlook

As of June 16th, there had been little change in the supply and demand information of domestic n-propanol market. Downstream purchases continued to be in needed, and the overall supply side was relatively stable.
