At the beginning of the week, the average production price of paraformaldehyde in Shandong was 5,062.50 RMB/ton, and on the weekend, the average production price of paraformaldehyde in Shandong was 5,037.50 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.49%, a month on month decrease of 3.82%, and a year-on-year decrease of 8.41%.

Analysis review

Upstream methanol situation: The domestic methanol market fluctuated and declined, the reference factory price of methanol in Jining was around 2,300 RMB/ton, and the reference delivery price of methanol in Linyi was around 2,350 RMB/ton. The local methanol factory in central Shandong quoted a price of 2,400 RMB/ton for cash, while the reference price for the methanol market in Dongying, Shandong was 2,320-2,330 RMB/ton for cash.

Market outlook
