According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of March 7, the average price of ECH quoted by ECH enterprises was 8,825.00 RMB/ton, down 1.12% from that of March 1.

Analysis review

The market of ECH had been weaker since March. Recently, the price of raw material propylene fluctuated and fell, the price of raw material glycerin was stable, the cost support was limited, the downstream replenished small orders just in needed, the factory shipment was under pressure, and the demand support was weak, dragging the negotiation focus of the ECH market down.

Upstream propylene, according to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the recent domestic propylene (Shandong) market volatile fell. On March 6, the reference price of propylene was 7,346.60 RMB/ton, down 2.34% from that of March 1 (7,522.60 RMB/ton).

For downstream epoxy resin, the reference price of epoxy resin was 15,100.00 RMB/ton on March 6, which was the same as that on March 1.

Market outlook

According to the ECH analyst of SunSirs, the current cost pressure still exists, but the demand is low, and the market transaction atmosphere is light. It is expected that the ECH market may be stalemated and weaker in the short term, and more attention still needs to be paid to the market news guidance.
