SunSirs: China Asphalt Market Rises slightly

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, from July 29 to August 5, the average spot price of domestic manufacturers in Shandong increased from 4293 RMB/ ton to 4383 RMB/ ton, with a price increase of 2.10% in the cycle, a month on month decrease of 4.86% and a year-on-year increase of 28.79%.
Last week, the domestic asphalt price showed an upward trend, driven by the continuous increase of Sinopec price. Although the crude oil is in weak and volatile operation, the spot asphalt is relatively strong, maintaining a slight upward trend. In the short term, the asphalt market may be stable but strong.
The international crude oil is weak and volatile, the asphalt market is slightly strong, the supply pressure at the spot end is limited, and some resources are slightly tight. SunSirs asphalt analysts predict that China domestic asphalt market will be mainly consolidated.
