According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average market price of domestic rapeseed was 6492 RMB/ton on April 28 and 6416 RMB/ton on April 1.
In April, the price of rapeseed was mainly strong. The market is flat, and the quotation of traders is strong. The tight supply of Chen rapeseed market and the insufficient inventory of traders supported the price of domestic rapeseed. New rapeseed has been on the market since mid May. The number of imported rapeseed decreased. According to statistics, the domestic rapeseed import from January to March 2022 was 375000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 28.8%. As of April 22, the rapeseed inventory of oil plants in coastal areas was 131000 tons, with a decrease of 31000 tons on a weekly basis, the lowest level in the same period in recent three years.
At present, rapeseed is in shortage, and the supply of old rapeseed is tight. In the short term, it is expected that domestic rapeseed will be affected by tight supply and strong price trend.
According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of vegetable oil market was 14208 RMB/ton on April 28 and 13582 RMB/ton on April 1, up 4.61%. On April 28, the average market price of rapeseed meal was 3988 RMB/ton, and on April 1, the average market price of rapeseed meal was 3982 RMB/ton, up 0.14%.
