Analysis review

The current price of potassium sulfate comes from the accumulation of market conditions from March to early April. The current domestic potassium sulfate price range is relatively high. Entering May, the potassium sulfate market was dominated by a sideways stalemate. In late May, the domestic potassium sulfate spot price rose significantly. For the entire month of May, the adjustment of the operating rate of domestic potassium sulfate Mannheim enterprises was limited, and the overall operating rate was flat, with an average operating rate of over 70%.The ex-factory reference price of Shijiazhuang Hehe Chemical's 52% powdered potassium sulfate was 3,200 RMB/ton. The ex-factory reference price of Shijiazhuang Haofang Chemical's 50% powdered potassium sulfate was 3,000 RMB/ton, and the manufacturer mainly met the pre-orders. The ex-factory reference price of Hebei Gaoqiao Agricultural Potassium Sulfate 52% powdered potassium sulfate was 3,300 RMB/ton.

As for the raw material potassium chloride, the market went sideways in May, and the actual transaction was not good. On the whole, there was a certain contradiction between supply and demand for potassium chloride, the market atmosphere was deserted, downstream procurement was mainly on-demand, the overall inventory was low, the market procurement momentum was low, and the domestic potassium chloride market remained stable. In early June, the overall trend of the potassium chloride market may fluctuate slightly. The domestic potash fertilizer market rose at the end of May, which was positive for the potassium sulfate market. However, the demand-side response was general, and the consumption volume did not increase.

Market outlook

An analyst of Potassium Sulfate of SunSirs believes that the price of potassium chloride was stable in May. Potassium nitrate prices rose, and domestic potassium sulfate cost support was acceptable. he cost side and external disk prices acted on the market at the same time, and manufacturers and traders actively raised prices. However, the market atmosphere was not good, the smoothness of trading was not ideal, and the end users' reaction to the increase in the supply of potassium sulfate was weak. It is expected that the domestic potassium sulfate price may continue to adjust within a narrow range in the near future.
