According to the price monitoring of the business agency, as of February 20, 2021, the average domestic ex-factory price of 1.2D*38mm viscose staple fiber in the domestic region was 13,633 yuan/ton, an increase of 7.06% from the previous February. The price of viscose staple fiber is high, and chemical fiber factories have sufficient orders and reported high prices. At present, there are not many actual transactions and scattered orders are sold.

Multi-factor catalyzed viscose staple fiber usher in the recovery cycle

Since October 2020, viscose staple fiber has begun to rebound, and the recent price increase has been particularly pronounced. The catalytic factors for this price increase include cotton linters due to rising costs and low volume; domestic pulp prices continue to rise; downstream stocking and other factors, But the fundamental reason is the recovery cycle of the industry boom driven by the industry capacity cycle.

The price of rayon yarn has continued to rise recently, and the transaction performance has been average. The price of ring spinning 30S produced in Xiaoshao, Zhejiang is 17600-17800 yuan/ton.

The price of viscose staple fiber is showing strong performance, and it is expected that the price will continue to rise. It is expected that the viscose staple fiber industry in 2021 will continue its prosperity at the end of 2020, and the bullish price will reach 16,000 yuan/ton.
