According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of December 31, 2020, the rubber and plastic index was 695 points, up 26 points from January 1, down 34.43% from the highest 1,060 points in the cycle (March 14, 2012), and up 31.63% from the lowest 528 points on April 6, 2020. (Note: period refers to the period from December 1, 2011 to now)

2. PC: +58.10%, PET: -15.84%

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, in the list of commodity price rise and fall in 2020, there were 12 kinds of commodities in the rubber and plastic sector, among which 8 kinds of commodities increased more than 5%, accounting for 50% of the monitored commodities in the sector; the top 3 kinds of commodities with an increase were PC (58.10%), LDPE (38.85%) and PA66 (27.34%). There were 4 kinds of commodities decreased month on month, and 3 kinds of commodities with a decrease of more than 5%, accounting for 18.8% of the monitored commodities in the sector; the top 3 products with a decrease were PET (-15.84%), EPS (-6.46%) and BR(-5.63%).

3. 93.481 million tons

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics: from January to November, 2020, the cumulative output of China's primary form plastics was 93.481 million tons, up 6.6% year on year; among them, the output in November was 9.328 million tons, up 11.6% year on year.

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics: as of November, the cumulative output of China's plastic products in 2020 was 71.614 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.3%.

5. 3.066 million tons

According to the data of China business intelligence network, the import volume of China's primary shape plastics increased in November 2020, and the import volume of China's primary shape plastics in November 2020 was 3.066 million tons, an increase of 7.6% year on year.

6. 37.28 million tons

From January to November 2020, China's import volume of primary shape plastics was 37.28 million tons.
