According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the price of domestic and foreign three yuan pigs continued to rise this week, with an average price of RMB 30.70 yuan/kg at the beginning of the week and RMB 32.03 yuan/kg at the end of the week, up 4.33%.
2.Cause analysis
In the middle of October, the shortage of domestic pig supply has not been effectively alleviated. With the support of demand, the farmers are reluctant to sell out the price and the slaughterhouse raises the price to supplement the stock to support the domestic pig market price rising. According to the latest data from the Ministry of agriculture, the number of domestic pigs on hand and that of fertile sows continue to decline. The sharp decline in the number of pigs on hand will lead to the continuous shortage of domestic meat market supply in the short term, which will play a certain supporting role in the continuous rise of pig market price.
This week, the domestic corn price picked up slightly, the soybean meal price fluctuated upward, and the breeding and feeding cost picked up. The ultra-high pig price prompted the farmers to continue to increase their enthusiasm to make up the market, and the number of pigs in the market is expected to stop falling and stabilize.
