Analysis review

In the first ten days of December, the market for salicylic acid continued to improve, and companies rose steadily but not much. At present, downstream demand is stable, manufacturers are operating at a high level, exports and domestic trade orders are increasing, and corporate inventories are not pressured. After the increase, the market reflects that the trend of salicylic acid is relatively stable in the short term. As of December 9, the quotations of salicylic acid industrial enterprises were mostly in the range of 12,000-15,000 RMB/ton, the quotations of pharmaceutical grades were mostly in the range of 23,000-25,500 RMB/ton, and the quotations of sublimation grades were mostly in the range of 15,000-20,000 RMB/ton. The transaction was mainly negotiated, and the price was good for large quantities.

Raw material phenol, the current downstream buying is not good, the bid is cautious, the sales pressure of the holders has increased, the profit-making sellers are more willing to sell at low prices, and the market has gradually shifted the focus of negotiation under the condition of poor trading. On December 9, the performance of the phenol market in East China was relatively calm. The offer was at 6,700-6,800 RMB/ton. The offer from holders was lower, the atmosphere was not good, there were fewer downstream inquiries, and the enthusiasm for entering the market was not high. The transaction has not yet been heard, and overall the actual order needs to be improved.
