September 28 2020 12:52:05     SunSirs (John)

Price trend

According to the monitoring of SunSirs: Hydrogen peroxide market ended the downturn in August and ushered in a big rise in September. In the first half of the month, the price of hydrogen peroxide rose fiercely, and the price has been soaring, with an increase exceeding 18.35%. In the second half of the month, the market continued to stabilize, with prices mainly stable, with a slight correction. At the beginning of September, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide was 926 RMB/ton. On September 27, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide was 1,090 RMB/ton, and the price increased by 17.63%.

Analysis review

Let's analyze in detail the reasons for the rise and fall of hydrogen peroxide in September 2020:

In the first half of September, the terminal caprolactam was overhauled by pure benzene manufacturers and the supply was tight and the market rose. In addition, September was the traditional peak season for hydrogen peroxide consumption, and terminal demand has been boosted. The price of hydrogen peroxide has been rising. The price rose more than 7% in the first week, and the increase continued to expand in the second week. As of September 13, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide was 1,096 RMB/ton, an increase of over 18%.

In the second half of the month, due to the excessively rapid increase in the market for hydrogen peroxide in the early stage, the terminal purchasing enthusiasm has declined. As of September 27, the average market price of hydrogen peroxide was 1,090 RMB/ton, which was about 1% lower than that of September 13.

The increase in hydrogen peroxide in 2019 was mainly concentrated in the first half of the year, with prices rising from February to May, and sharp increases in August and October. The performance in 2020 is flat, basically falling, only in June it rose by more than 30%. In July and August, the hydrogen peroxide was falling. In September, the terminal demand improved, and the manufacturers collectively rose. Only then did the hydrogen peroxide rise again.

Market outlook

The hydrogen peroxide analyst of SunSirs believes that the golden September has come, and some hydrogen peroxide manufacturers have stopped for maintenance on November. The supply is tight, and the silver October is still expected.
