SunSirs: The Supply and Sale Are Stable, PA66 Early August Is Mainly Steady with Slight Changes

According to the data from SunSirs Bulk Commodity Pricing Index, China PA66 market is mainly steady with slight changes, and the fluctuating range for every grade is narrow. As of August 10, the mainstream average offer price of PA66 medium viscosity injection molding grade is 18,750 RMB/ton, declining by 0.27% from the beginning of the month.

PA66 upstream adipic acid is trapped by low demands, so last month the price worked steadily in a low level. The spot price of the whole month adjusted narrowly, and the monthly range is only 1.78%. Into August, although the demands for adipic acid doesn’t recover, the spot has been in a low price without the burden of inventory and the risk of piling, so the scope of profits to be sacrificed is not wide, which causing the firm price. It is predicted that the recent adipic acid market condition is inclined to be flat.

The support from the upstream adipic acid is general. Last month, the market supply was still in a not high level. At present, the operating rate of every manufacturers is steady, among which, Liaoyang Xingjia still stops production, Huafeng Group's 80,000-ton annual capacity device operating rate was 50%, Dandong Youxian Technology also shuts down half of its devices, and Shenma Industrial's operating rate is 80%. The level of operating rate is not high, shunting the considerate oversupply burden and stabilizing the PA66 spot price. At present, the material price support is not so strong but stable, but the shipment is general, so the factual transaction improvement is limited. The atmosphere of enquiry from downstream factories is warmer, but the order strategy still remains taking when using, so the improvement of transaction is limited.

SunSirs analysts suppose that in the first half of August, China PA66 market is mainly steady with slight changes. The upstream adipic acid is operating steadily, whose support for cost side is general. The condition of downstream inquiry has increased, but the improvement of demands is still limited. At present, the operating rate of China slicing factories assuages the burden of oversupply. However, the little supply and transaction coexists, so in fact China market is under the contradiction of supply and demand. It can be surmised that in a short time, PA66 market condition may continue to work steadily.
