In June, China domestic DME market continued to decline. According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of DME in Henan market on June 1 was 2,270.00 RMB/ ton, and on June 30 was 2,193.33 RMB/ ton, a decrease of 3.38%, compared with 28.56% in the same period of last year.

In June, DME continued to be weak, and the market operating rate was about 12%, which was lower than that of last month, and the market transaction atmosphere was still depressed. In the case of cost inversion, most enterprises reduced production load, a small number of enterprises were forced to stop, the market operating rate was weakened, which brought some support to the market, and the price stoped falling and stabilizes. On June 17, crude oil continued to rise slightly, and the market supply continued to decrease, and the DME market finally ushered in an upward trend. However, the terminal market demand was poor, and the cost of methanol consolidation was weak, the trend of LPG for civil use was not good, DME rising power was insufficient, the rise was limited, and then the trend was still stable.

After a narrow cut on June 21, the market was collated horizontally until the end of the month. During this period, the atmosphere of DME market transaction was relatively light, Henan as the main production area, the market supply was more sufficient. However, under the influence of seasonal factors, although the market operating rate was less than 15%, it was difficult to get out of the weak position.

At present, As DME is in the traditional off-season, the terminal demand is not high, and under the influence of social and public health events this year, the demand of some catering industry is not as good as in previous years, and most enterprises say that the sales pressure of DME is relatively high. Although the LPG civil market changes, the DME market is not affected by it, and it is still "responding to changes with the same".
