SunSirs: In May, the Market of OX Fell First and Then Rose

According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the contract price of o-xylene Sinopec fell first and then rose in May, and the overall o-xylene price remained stable. As of May 31, the contract price of o-xylene Sinopec was 4,200.00 RMB/ton, which was stable compared with the price of o-xylene at the beginning of the month. Compared with the same period last year, the price fell by 32.26%.

                                                  

Analysis review   

Cost: In May, the price of o-xylene stabilized, the price of raw material mixed xylene rose sharply, the cost of o-xylene rose, and the pressure of o-xylene market rose.

Industrial chain: In May, the price of phthalic anhydride rose in shock, and the downstream market of o-xylene recovered; the demand for o-xylene rose, and the driving force increased; in May, the price of plasticizer DOP rose sharply, which was good for o-xylene market, and good for o-xylene market as a whole.

 

Market outlook
