Recently, the domestic market price of phthalic anhydride has fallen slightly, and the transportation of chemical products has eased. Some phthalic anhydride manufacturers that have started operations still have inventories and their shipments are poor. The prices of phthalic anhydride and phthalic anhydride in East China dropped slightly. There were more shutdowns in downstream factories, increased plant inventory pressure, and high-end transactions were blocked. Recently, manufacturers' inventory increased, and the price of phthalic anhydride declined. The mainstream of negotiating sources of supply in East China is 5,500-5,800 RMB/ton, and the mainstream of naphthalene methods is discussing at 5,300-5,500 RMB/ton. The mainstream price of phthalic anhydride market in north China is 5,400-5,800 RMB/ton. The downstream start-up is not high, mainly on-demand procurement. The wait-and-see attitude is relatively strong. The domestic phthalic anhydride installations are generally operating. The spot supply of phthalic anhydride is normal. In addition, the downstream demand for phthalic anhydride is not good. For the purchase of phthalic anhydride on demand, the price trend of phthalic anhydride declined slightly.

Recently, the domestic execution price of ortho-xylene of Sinopec was 5,800 RMB/ton. The prices of imported ortho-xylene in the port area fell slightly, and the quotation fell. Port inventory increased. As a result, due to the low price of the upstream raw material o-xylene, the market price of phthalic anhydride has fallen slightly.

The price of downstream DOP raw materials isooctanol is temporarily stable, the cost of DOP raw materials is fluctuating and falling, DOP enterprises operate at low load, during the anti epidemic period, logistics is limited, transportation is difficult, and DOP manufacturers' inventory is increased. The price of DOP fell, the purchasing enthusiasm of customers was poor, the price of downstream PVC fell, and the equipment of PVC enterprises started at a low level. The main quotation in DOP market is about 7,000-7,500 RMB/ton, a small amount of market plasticizer is traded, and the price of upstream OX fluctuates at a low level. It is expected that the market price of phthalic anhydride will maintain a fluctuating trend in the later stage.
