SunSirs: Downstream resumption is slow and there is no market for PA66 (2.10-2.14)

February 20 2020 09:21:44     SunSirs (Molly)

1. Price Trend

According to data from the SunSirs block list, the domestic PA66 market in mid-February moved steadily and relatively steadily. As of Friday, February 14th, the average price of PA66 middle viscous injection molding grades was around RMB 2,2750.00 / ton, which was a 1.30% decrease from the average price on Monday, February 10th.

2. Analysis of influencing factors:

PA66 upstream adipic acid market stalemate this week, domestic adipic acid market is light. Dealers are still few in the market, and the resumption of work in many places has been delayed. The market also showed that there was no market price. The prices were mostly flat before the holiday, and the dealers offered less active quotes. The prices refer to 8100-8300 yuan / ton. Large factories have resumed work more, but the operating rate has not yet reached the pre-holiday level. Most of the dealers' inventory is pre-holiday reserves. In addition, due to traffic restrictions, the speed of goods shipments has further slowed down. The domestic PA66 market was relatively deserted this week Organized smoothly. On the supply side, logistics resistance is still relatively large, and spot transactions are scarce due to the impact of the shutdown of the automobile transportation. At the same time, the operating rate of downstream factories has continued to decline, especially in Wuhan, where car production is relatively concentrated, and the resumption of work is slow. The downstream demand has been passively reduced. PA66 also has a similar priceless market. The trading atmosphere was quiet and few trading news was heard.

3. Future Forecast:

SunSirs analysts believe that: in mid-February, the domestic PA66 market price was stable and small. Upcoming adipic acid in the upstream has been slow to return, and the price is deadlocked, which has limited support for the cost of PA66. Downstream factories are also slow to resume work, with no stock or low stock, and demand is shrinking. The atmosphere of the market is quiet, there is no market, and the operating space is very limited. It is expected that if the recent PA66 transaction is to be active, it is necessary to wait at least until the domestic related industries gradually resume work.
