According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average factory price of domestic chlorinated paraffin 52 was 5,733 RMB/ton on December 5 and 5,533 RMB/ton on December 9, respectively. The price of chlorinated paraffin fell 3.49% this week.

Analysis review

This week, the market price of chlorinated paraffin mainly declined. The prices of raw material liquid chlorine and liquid wax continued to fall this week, and the cost support was insufficient. Downstream demand was sluggish, and most purchases were made on demand, with few deals. The manufacturer reduced the price for shipment in order to digest the inventory, and the market focus of chlorinated paraffin moved downward. As of December 9, the ex factory quotation of chlorinated paraffin 52 in Anhui Province was about 6,000 RMB/ton, that in Northeast China was 5,800 RMB/ton, and that in Shandong Province was 4,800-5,300 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw material liquid wax, the price of liquid wax continued to decline this week, and the number of transactions on the market decreased. Liquid wax fluctuated with the crude oil market. In terms of raw material liquid chlorine, the price trend of liquid chlorine this week was mainly downward. The downstream was operating under low load, and the purchase of raw materials was reduced.

Market outlook

The chlorinated paraffin analysts of SunSirs believe that the current market of chlorinated paraffin raw materials is not good, and the cost support is weakened. The downstream demand is weak, the on-site delivery is less, and the manufacturer's shipment is not smooth. Due to the overall poor performance of the raw material side and the demand side, it is expected that the market of chlorinated paraffin will continue be weak in the short term.
