Analysis review

On the 6th, the domestic phenol market stopped falling and the focus of the negotiation rose, mainly because the spot quantity was tight, some terminal factories started to store and replenish goods, and the mentality of the cargo holders improved. The negotiation ended the situation of continuous decline and the focus rose.

It is understood that the port replenishment had been delayed, and the current market volume was limited, the demand side had inquiries, but most of them were small orders for replenishment. The on-site turnover was average. In the downstream, bisphenol A continued to decline, with the negotiation price at 10,000-10,150 RMB/ton.

Market outlook

It is expected that the phenol market will rise strongly in the short term, mainly depending on the demand of downstream factories, focusing on the market turnover.
