The market of ammonium chloride was consolidated at a low level. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the price of domestic ammonium chloride dry ammonium was 957 RMB/ton on the 15th.
Analysis review
The operating rate of domestic soda production continued to maintain above 80%, the pressure on ammonium chloride inventory was still large, and the operating rate of downstream compound fertilizer was at a low level of 3~4%. The winter storage was not clear, and the supply and demand of ammonium chloride was relatively weak.
In November, the prices of raw material liquid ammonia and nitrogen fertilizer urea rose, supporting ammonium chloride in terms of cost and substitutability. According to the monitoring of SunSirs, as of November 15, the price of liquid ammonia was 4,346 RMB/ton, up 6.10% from the beginning of the month; The price of urea was 2,634 RMB/ton, up 5.11% from the beginning of the month.
Market outlook
The inventory digestion is slow and the downstream demand is weak, but the price of ammonium chloride is expected to be stable in the later period under the support of cost.
