According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average spot price of China domestic asphalt manufacturers in Shandong Province at the beginning of the week was 4,475 yuan/ton from October 14 to 21, up 0.77% month on month and 20.88% year on year.
Last week, the domestic asphalt market was dominated by consolidation, and prices in some regions fell by a narrow margin. The main reason for the low price is that the demand is gradually ending, while the domestic asphalt supply remains high, and the contradiction between supply and demand is further prominent.
At present, asphalt supply is mainly maintained at a high level; On the demand side, road demand is mainly stable and rigid. SunSirs asphalt analysts expect that the short-term China domestic asphalt market is mainly narrow.
