According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of May 29, the average price of domestic industrial-grade lithium hydroxide of enterprises was 463,333.34 RMB/ton, which was the same as the price on last Monday (May 23), and a decrease of 1.42% compared with the price on April 29, and an increase of 9.45% in a three-month cycle.

Analysis review

Recently, the domestic industrial-grade lithium hydroxide market has been running smoothly. Recently, the upstream spodumene price has been high, the upstream lithium carbonate price has risen slightly, the cost support has been strengthened, the supply side has increased slightly, and the demand side of the downstream high-nickel material factory has recovered slightly. However, the purchase mentality was still cautious, the market trading atmosphere has improved slightly, and the focus of domestic lithium hydroxide market discussions was stable mainly.

Upstream lithium carbonate, according to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average price of industrial-grade lithium carbonate in East China on May 27 was 450,000.00 RMB/ton, which increased by 0.45% compared with the price on Monday (on May 23, the average price of industrial-grade lithium carbonate in East China was 448,000.00 RMB/ton).

Market outlook

The lithium hydroxide analyst of SunSirs believes that the current cost side has certain support, the supply side has increased slightly, the market inquiry and purchasing atmosphere has slightly improved, and the wait-and-see atmosphere is still strong. It is expected that in the short term, the domestic industrial-grade lithium hydroxide market price may be stabilized.
