As of April 20, 2022, the average ex-factory price of rayon yarn (30S, ring spinning, first-class products) was 18,533 RMB/ton, an increase of about 200 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
On April 20, affected by the high cost, some rayon yarn manufacturers raised their quotations, but the sales were still weak. The terminal demand had not improved, the finished rayon yarn had accumulated in the warehouse, the local logistics was not smooth, the spot delivery of the yarn factory was still hindered, and the price negotiation degree was high.
Raw viscose staple fiber: After the previous price increase, the recent offers of viscose staple fiber manufacturers were still firm and stable. As of April 20, 2022, the domestic ex-factory price of 1.2D*38mm viscose staple fiber was 14,160 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
The market of viscose staple fiber and rayon yarn will continue to have a sluggish trading atmosphere, the circulation speed is still slow, the degree of yarn mills taking over is limited, and the operating rate has begun to decline. Analysts of SunSirs predict that the price of rayon yarn will be mainly consolidated in the later period.
